Sterling Heights, MI (Sunday, April 26, 2020) - Just like anything else in life, the next generation is gearing up to take over the reigns - and the same is true in auto racing. Through Champion Racing Association's Victory Custom Trailers Junior Late Model Series, two area teenagers are laying the foundation for their stock car career, while one is already moving through the ranks.

Lapeer, Michigan native, Chase Burda, who holds accomplishments in various realms of the racing world, will make the move from the Junior Late Model Series in 2019, to the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour in 2020 after claiming the Junior championship. On the dirt side, the 15 year old was also named the 2018 Merritt Speedway, and 2019 Tri-City Motor Speedway Rookie of the Year.

Also scheduled to be on the program is 12 year old Katie Hettinger. From Dryden, Michigan, Hettinger is a third generation driver who currently finds her home in the Victory Custom Trailers CRA Junior Late Model Series. Looking for a break-out year in 2020, Hettinger has years of successful racing on her side, including wins in Quarter-Midgets, Jr Sprints, and 600cc Micro Sprints.
