Sterling Heights, MI (Monday, May 18, 2020) - As racing gradually begins to return to parts of the country, more Great Lakes region drivers are finding themselves on the road to get their seasons started, or restarted in some cases, during the COVID-19 pandemic. For Jack Dossey III and Champion Racing Association, they fall in under the 'restart' category, with a huge 3-in-1 program from Lebanon, Missouri May 30th.
For Dossey, the last time he competed on the track was during SpeedFest 2020 in late January, from Cordele, Georgia. Mechanical problems ended his weekend early. Since then, Dossey has been eager to get back behind the wheel for his sophomore season with the ARCA/CRA Super Series - where he took Rookie of the Year honors in 2019. The Indianapolis, Indiana native joins Zach and Rich tonight to discuss what's next for him in 2020 and he'll let us know how he's preparing for his trip to I-44 Speedway.
Also on the program tonight is Champion Racing Association's Glenn Luckett. Having sat idle with the exception of schedule revisions, postponements and cancellation announcements, we hear Luckett's thoughts on getting the local motorsports industry going again. Plus, we'll hear what it took to get the ARCA/CRA Super Series, JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and Van Hoy Oil CRA Street Stocks all lined up for the trip to Lebanon and I-44 Speedway.
