Sterling Heights, MI (Monday, June 8, 2020) - On the next episode of Horsepower Happenings, Zach Hiser and Rich Frantz call up Cody Bauer who collected his first career DIRTcar UMP Late Model win two weeks ago at Merritt Speedway. Also on the show schedule is Elida, Ohio native, Max Stambaugh. In addition to their successful stories, both drivers will offer an insight into their upcoming weekends.
For Bauer, his win from Merritt Speedway comes just prior to the beginning of the Lane Automotive Allstar Performance Merritt/Tri-City Challenge Series Supported by American Ethanol. On top of the win, Bauer has shown great speed at Merritt this season with heat race wins and multiple top five finishes including a runner up finish Saturday night. Bauer will share his thoughts on the upcoming Challenge Series races and talk about his chances to collect the $8,000 in weekend winnings.
Stambaugh looks to continue his season of sprint car racing after tackling Atomic Speedway and Attica Raceway Park already in 2020. Next up for him is the Great Lakes Super Sprints season opener from I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan. Stambaugh has found massive success at I-96 and is looking to kick the Michigan season off with another win.
